At Tonic.ai, our mission has always been to make data usable and to empower developers to build safely, quickly, and without compromise. We’re excited to announce that we’ve been selected to join the Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program, an initiative that connects high-potential startups with Microsoft’s global network of enterprise customers, cutting-edge technology, and go-to-market expertise. As part of this exciting new partnership, Tonic.ai will make its synthetic data generation technologies available to Microsoft Azure customers through the Azure Marketplace.

Why this matters

AI is transforming every industry, but enterprise adoption is often slowed by one major obstacle: data. Sensitive production data powers innovation, yet privacy and compliance concerns prevent developers from safely using it. The result? Projects stall, testing slows, and promising AI use cases never make it out of the lab.

That’s the problem Tonic.ai solves. By delivering high-quality synthetic data that’s safe to use, we eliminate the data bottlenecks holding enterprises back. Joining Pegasus amplifies our ability to deliver this solution worldwide and directly within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Accelerating Enterprise AI

The Pegasus Program provides us with access to Microsoft’s advanced AI tools, Azure credits, and global customer network. For our customers, this means:

  • Stronger Azure integration: Our platform installs directly into a customer’s Azure tenant, enabling teams to use Tonic-generated data seamlessly with services like Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry.
  • Faster enterprise adoption: Through co-selling and joint go-to-market initiatives, we can deliver solutions more quickly to the organizations that need them most.
  • Enhanced innovation: By pairing synthetic data with Microsoft’s AI ecosystem, enterprises can adopt responsible AI practices without slowing their roadmap.
  • Streamlined procurement through Azure Marketplace: Benefit from faster procurement processes and utilize Azure commitments (MACC) to pay for Tonic's solutions.

As Ian Coe, our Co-Founder and CEO, shared in our official press release:

Looking ahead

Joining Pegasus is more than a milestone, it’s a catalyst for what comes next. As enterprises accelerate AI adoption, the need for privacy-safe, high-quality data is only growing.

Together with Microsoft, we’re committed to making that data available, usable, and secure. We’re proud to be part of this program and look forward to helping organizations unlock the full potential of AI on Azure.
